The staff was very friendly, and Dr. Mouritsen was incredibly honest. I was truly impressed. My child didn’t end up needing treatment yet, but when the time comes, I’ll definitely return because of the doctor’s honesty. It’s clear he genuinely cares about his patients and isn’t just in it for the money.
MOURITSEN Orthodontics has been an incredible experience for our family. As a full-time working parent, I truly appreciate how accommodating they are with scheduling. We went here for my 7yo daughter’s habitual thumb sucking. She was extremely anxious and nervous about this appointment. The staff and Dr. Mouritsen were all so incredibly patient and kind throughout our appointment. His chat with my daughter eased her anxiety and he demonstrated the long term effects to her with such kindness and enthusiasm. He spoke to her instead of me, which I appreciated so much. Called to make a appointment due to being unhappy with another orthodontist office in the area and was told that he does not take new patients that have been seen by other orthodontists in the local area which I think is absolutely ridiculous and poor business practice. Instead of possibly worrying about offending other orthodontists in the area he should perhaps be more concerned about providing good patient care to new patients that are coming to him for help. My opinion.
