Went to emergency room 4/6 after waking up in massive pain in my left knee which was replaced 3 years ago and fatigue for several days. Got a cortisone shot & painkillers. I continued to be in pain and fatigue until I returned to Chicago on May 5th. I went to my doctors who took fluids out of my knee and after testing I was immediately checked into endeavor hospital in Skokie Illinois with a bacterial infection. I went in for vascular surgery on my neck. In the recovery room I started bleeding and choking in my throat, I blacked out before they took me in for the second emergency surgery. After that surgery, I woke up in restraints, unable to speak because of the intibation tube in my mouth. by far the best hospital in vegas. i’ve had very traumatizing experiences at other hospitals in vegas but mountain view has been best by far. their surgery department is great and so is my surgeon. also, the every single nurse has been very attentive, kind, caring, and understanding. as soon as i press the call button, someone comes. if i need to use the bathroom, they come almost immediately. they’re on time with meds and make sure you are happy regularly. they keep everything clean here and will change your linens regularl... read more

My nurse Jackie S. (3south) provided exceptional care throughout my time as a patient. She was kind, compassionate, professional, and incredibly hardworking.
