The facility is clean and well maintained. The atmosphere is upbeat. All of the employees are friendly and helpful. It checks all of the boxes for any gym plus some extras like great changing rooms and daycare. However, what I find to be true inspirational is the variety of people who are members. There are people of every age and every size. And in those categories there are people who exhibit a variety of physical abilities from the beginner to exercise to the unbelievably fit. After 15 years of loyalty (roughly $18,000 in membership dues paid) I can confidently say Mountainside Fitness has gone downhill. No more yearly buddy passes--so you can't even bring a friend to try the gym anymore. Then they refused to let me buy a day pass for my nephew because I'm not his father. Seriously? Zero flexibility and no common sense. And let's be real--it's overpriced for what you get. There are plenty of other gyms offering the same or better equipment and amenities without all these ridiculous restrictions.... read more

I have a problem with my low back. For the last few years, I have used MOUNTAINSIDE’S stretch fit program help stretch muscles in my lower back and hips. The trainers that have helped me are truly awesome. Dee was my first trainer. She retired and Zach took her place. Both have made a high difference in my ability to move around. I recommend the program and trainers to anyone who needs to improve their flexibility. The gym has enough machines to allow me to go a regular routine without too many stops. Congratulations to Mountainside fitness in Peoria Arizona for winning fitness center of the year! The leadership here is fantastic . The collegiality of the personal trainers is wonderful. The guidance and quality of personal training is next to none. Very superior. Congratulations to Isaiah for being nominated as personal trainer of the year! It's nice to know I'm getting the best possible guidance in my fitness regimen and workout plus a great deal of quality advice about my health.

Awesome gym! love the people here. Great energy! Lauren at the front desk is awesome. Love her, full of energy, sweet and very helpful. She’s the best. Always on the go and keeping everything shipshape!
