Mountainside was an experience that was pivotal in my recovery journey! I had experience with recovery and relapsed before going through mountainside. I struggled with life on life's terms and didn't know how to balance life and recovery. Mountainside provided the experience I needed in order to build a foundation in recovery while transitioning into the "outside world". In a sense mountainside was the home I was able to grow up in and for that I will forever be grateful!
I myself went to Mountainside back in 2010 and it saved me life!!!!! Angela and the staff are exceptional women that helped me when I was struggling and showed me how to live life again and I will forever be grateful to each and everyone of them....they are all filled with compassion yet can be tough on you when they feel it is needed. I would absolutely recommend to send a love one here they will be in great hands!!!
My daughter's life was saved at Mountainside Estate. She had been to several facilities and this was the place that turned her life around. The staff, Angela, the programs, structure, groups- all of it was exactly what she needed. I also know several other women who were there and they continue to live happy, successful and sober lives. If you are in this struggle I highly recommend Mountainside Estate.
Mountainside was the best treatment center I went to. Not only did it teach me to live a sober life but it taught me how to have fun in sobriety. The staff was the best part. I grew a relationship with each and everyone of them. They really taught me how to love myself. I know the true meaning of friendship because of all the people I have met through my stays at mountainside. I will forever be grateful for the time and energy Mountainside has given me.
I was an individual who really struggled to get and stay sober. Mountainside was my 6th place in a year and half, and i felt utterly hopeless. Multiple counselors told my family to prepare for my funeral. Mountainside saved my life. They ignited a spark of hope in me which helped me to rebuild my self worth.
