I was fortunate enough to attend mountainside in 2011. After going through various treatment facilities across a 5 year period and failing to successfully stay sober, it was recommended that I attend a long term halfway house and I agreed. I went to Mountainside in Jan. of 2008, after my counselor suggested I go to an half way house for woman. I can't thank Angela and the staff at the house enough. They gave me hope, and faith that I deserved to be a sober happy woman at the age of 49. I have many fond memories and had lots of laughs at the house that I will always remember and cherish. Mountainside gave me a start on my journey in recovery in a place that has now been my home for 10 years (!). The generosity of the atmosphere, from the setting to the staff supported me through good and bad times. I'm proud to say that I am an alumni!
I went to Mountainside Estates back in 2012. I am so greatful that I was able to attend the extended recovery program there. My heart is overwhelmed with gratitude for what Angela and the staff there have done for me. I enjoyed the staff, activities and girls that were such a huge part in changing my life around.
