I just took my one year old daughter here today for a bad ingrown toe nail, I had a nurse that I know tell me to go to the er! The doc looked at it told me he didn't want to deal with it and sent us home! What the hell? I had to plead to get a ride up there and it was for nothing! My daughter is now screaming in pain and there's nothing I can do because the doc "didn't want to deal with it". This isn't the first time I have been left screwed over by this place but it is sure as hell the last.
Aside from being a top notch hospital on our mountain, THANK YOU Mountains Community administrators for supporting your mountain military veterans. Your valiant servant and Purple Heart recipient himself, Cliff "Doc" Bennett, is doing an outstanding job bringing veterans together at the Rim Veterans Outreach. MCH Emergeny Room visit. Awesome staff. Great doctor. Had to get stitches in my shin. The ER was full so I had to hold tight in a chair in the hallway. Even though they were so busy I still received great service and care. Thank you MCH. I don't like having to visit you, but when I do, I am glad you are there.
I was there yesterday for strep throat, the wait time was decent, the nurses never checked on me, I was the only one there, I overheard the nurses talking shit about other nurses, I'm a nurse, that is so beyond unprofessional, keep that shit till the break room or parking lot! Normally when you get to the ER they run blood work, no blood work was done, my nurse was really nice tho

I can't say enough how wonderful this small hospital is. We've been part-time residents for 2 years. I was experiencing terrible pain in my stomach...this pain has been around for some time but was getting increasingly worse. I had visited the hospital down the hill near our full time home a few times earlier only to be told it was something else. ER doc, Dr. Wilson, went the extra mile and tested me for gallstones. Thank you for trying to bring my daddy back but heaven didn't want to let go! Your whole staff was so nice and helpful through this nightmare in life. At only 19 years old I shouldn't have to say goodbye to my dad but mountains community help me say goodbye. Thank you!!!
