We had a first time appointment to have our Siberian Husky bathed and groomed. When my wife arrived to have him groomed the groomer came out and began to criticize our dog. That he was hairy and it would take a long time for her to bath and groom him. Also, she commented that he was old (he is 12 years old) and I am not sure what that has to do with it.
