Here's my dismal experience with MountainCreek. For three and a half years, I leased a unit at Pineview Apartments in Morgantown. My name was on the lease, and my adult son was the tenant. These terms were stipulated in the lease, and the rent was always paid on time. A few weeks ago, my son passed away unexpectedly. When Pineview management and MountainCreek "corporate" learned of this loss, they sprang into action by sending maintenance to change the lock on the apartment and deny me access.
