Convenient location, friendly staff. But the price for bag of stones appear way too high (2.5-3.5X of prices compared with locations within 20min drive). The bag's shape also make it very hard to carry and tie, compared with the tall bags from other shops.
Their trucks back hauled garbage and delivered garbage into my yard.
Very unreasonable price. They sell sand & stones at 3-4x the price than other garden centers or big box stores. Also they don’t offer fulfillment services. The guy at front desk can’t even get the numbers correct. They’re trying to sell 5 gallon vs 7.5 gallon stuff for the same price. Maybe that’s their trick of doing business.
Needed 5 ton of river rock and 2 ton class 2 base for an artificial lawn. I called around and Mountain View Garden Center had the best prices . Delivery was cheap as well. If you want a ' landscape showroom'...there are plenty of places that will provide that experience at 25 - 50%.higher product costs. I have been to Mountain View Garden Center a few years back and would have highly recommended this place back then. This past week, I had requested a friend to purchase some sand and DG from them in 5g buckets that we had. Since they didn’t know how much these were supposed to cost, they purchased it. Only afterwards, when I saw the total, I figured that this place basically does daylight robbery now.
