Requested service for my x758 garden tractor. United Ag picked up and serviced and returned tractor as requested.
Order was not ready when I arrived despite calling in the day before and was told all parts are on hand and the order would be ready. When I went to pick up the order, they charged it to the incorrect account despite me providing the account information upfront. This transaction took over half an hour which should’ve been only five minutes or less. I have had much better customer service in the past here, but today was not one of those days.
United Ag & Turf Plattsburgh has treated me extraordinarily well since I purchased my snowblower in 2011 (when they were still Giroux Brothers). I live in the city of Plattsburgh and don’t have a truck to easily transport it. On multiple occasions they have managed to squeeze me in for repairs when I was staring down a storm. They just did it again when we had 18” - 20” fall in 36 hours last weekend. I had a problem on Thursday and they went above and beyond to pick it up, repair it, and return it in one day. Spur of the moment UTV decision for me as has generally been the case in my 50 yr business experience. Did some exploring online and decided that the smaller John Deere Gator was perfect for this retiree and his 140 acre property. Cory answered, invited me up the following day. I arrived, took a test drive with him, was tutored throughout the 30 minute drive, followed him into his office, signed the papers, we shook hands, and I left for home. Done deal. 45 minutes.
