Honest, Straightfoward, and Quality – Have taken several ATV's to Joel and his guys. Pricing is fair and honest. No extras or overcharges. They are busy because they are good, like any mechanic or service provider. These guys know what they are talking about and know what needs to be done. Strongly recommend!
great mechanic – I would definately take my bike back to Joel, no thought required. Honest. Forthright. Nice dogs and the cat loves to be petted. Small shop, but they get the job done. No run a round like at some dealers and the skill and knowledge is way above the stealerships. Need a repair on your bike? Take it to Mountain Thunder!! Joel had to wait on a part from Yamaha for my RoadStar, that took 9 business days. Work was completed the next day after part arrived. Highly recommend this shop.
Great mechanic, fair pricing, nice dog. – Fantastic motorcycle mechanic for older Japanese bikes. Great attitude and, more importantly, skill. they have my 23 year old Kawasaki running like it was new. Their prices are completely in line with other garages I have dealt with over the years, but the skill level is definitely a cut above. Highly recommended. I have had my bike there on four different occasions. Be sure to pet the dog and say hi to the cat when you go.
TOOK GREAT CARE OF MY BIKES – Mountain Thunder was recommended to me by a friend. I needed a shop that could work on both a Suzuki Motorcycle and Yamaha Dirtbike at a good price. They don't charge a flat fee for diagnostics but charge in real time-the amount of time it actually takes and then if you choose to do the work, the estimate is free. good shop for quads – Joel always takes care of our high dollar race quads, he helps keep them in top running form. You always need to make an appointment, because the shop is always busy. They are a small shop so if your looking for the drop it off and go have a starsucks then come back and get you bike/quad forget it, go to the dealership where you bought said bike/quad. I will always take my quad and bike to joel.
Rude and sloppy service – Took my bike in for brake issues and carb cleaning. Carb didn't have an airbox so gave him airfilter pods for the bike. Was rude from the moment I dropped off the bike and wouldn't be able to start work on it for 2 weeks. When I picked up the bike, he told me that the airfilter pods were just set in place and would vibrate off within a few miles.
