RecommendedThey went out of their way to make my daughters 16th birthday the best ever. We had one of the heated igloos and they went above and beyond and decorated for her birthday. The food was amazing and I truly can’t say enough about their hospitality. Thank you so much for making it a very special night!

the reservation system is screwed up, they sat us in our reserved igloo. then they rudely kicked us out. They said we gave the other party's, name how would we know their name? we had the email confirmation the manager was very condescending and rude to my brother in law and family. she parades us through the restaurant and said (loudly) this is where you sit. we have several rental homes in the deep creek area and will NEVER give gift cards for this restaurant to our guests again..
Nasty manager, very rude. Never again!! There are way friendlier places to go in the Deep Creek area. Life's too short to deal with nasty people.
So, here’s the rub. I’ve gotten pizza at Mountain State McHenry many, many times and it’s consistently good, if not really good. However, the last few times the size of the pizza seems to be shrinking. A month ago when we ordered pizza for take out the large looked closer to a medium and the medium just slightly bigger than the small. Tonight when I picked up my medium mushroom it was sliding around in the 16” box because it was too small. So I measured it when I got home. The supposed 16” medium pizza was actually 13.75”. The outdoor Igloo was very warm and cozy. Food was great and well.
We had a great time last night in our igloo! Food was great, beer was cold! Our server, Dale, was fantastic!
