I cannot say enough good things about Lyle,Kate and the staff at South Mountain. They treat every horse with the utmost care and are thorough and wonderful to work with. As a trainer with many horses, I see them care for each horse like it is the most important horse in the world and they do top notch work!
Best Vets and Techs out there. :) You/your horses aren't just another number or paycheck to them. They genuinely care about your horses as much as you do and they show this everyday in the way they talk and work with you, and in the amazing care they provide to your fur babies. My horses and I haven't been happier since we switched to SME. :)
Lyle Barbour has been our vet for many years and we really appreciate his stall-side manner. :-) Both Lyle and Dr. Kate have worked on our horses and it is obvious that they really care. When that moment we all dread came (twice in one year), Lyle was there early on a Sunday morning (both times). His compassion made saying good-bye to an old friend a treasured memory.
Tonight was our first time calling in to your company, and though our horse was already gone by the time Lyle got there, he still did what he could to help the grieving process and make arrangements for Shawnee to be picked up. I hope to work with you all again but under better circumstances.
Great vets, great staff! I would recommend this team to anyone and everyone in need of vet care!
