The veterinarians are kind and attentive but the receptionist is rude and unprofessional. Ends calls with “okay” and hangs up. He called me on accident thinking I was another client. He asked “are you so-and-so” and I said “no I’m not,” so he said “okay” and hung up. I had called earlier, was told I was being transferred, I said thank you, and he said “okay” and transferred the call. We have been taking our dogs to MHV for 15 years. During that time some Vets have come and some have retired. Staff may change, but not often. What never changes is the willingness of the Vets and Staff to not only provide exceptional care to our Furry Family Members, but, to do so while listening to our concerns, showing compassion to us and the patients, and trying to accomodate our needs. I 100 percent recommend Mountain Home Vet.
They have treated all of our pets with kindness and compassion in good times and sad times.

Today my heart was broken because we lost our sweet girl Paisley. She has been under the care of Mountain Home ever since we have had her. They have guided us and Paisley through the joys and trials over the years. Today they went above and beyond to make it as easy as possible for us. We have in the past and will continue to recommend Mountain Home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Great place to take all my kids, very clean and the staff is super nice.
They took our 5 month old puppy right in the morning we called while on vacation. He was lethargic and could not keep food or water down , and they treated him promptly and he started feeling better that afternoon. Next morning he was back to his normal self! They were very thorough with the care they provided.
