We're from Charlotte and it's hard to find a good place to eat in this area without being disappointed. We tried Mountain Fried Chicken and we were hooked from the start. I wish I could give it 10 stars.

I ordered mountain chicken for the first time tonight. I was very disappointed.. I didnt like the mac and cheese. It was very over cooked and very nasty. The green beans were nasty. The chicken was over cooked or under a burner way longer than what it needed to be. I thought my experience would be awesome but I was wrong. I probably won't ever go back to MC. 😳😣🍖👎

We have enjoyed going to this place for the last few months. Today things change. A server was changing out the potato wedges and a piece of chicken fell into the bottom of the warmer. A place that has rust, and other food pieces and crumbs. The server picked the chicken piece and placed it on the edge of the fried chicken tray. When we ordered she placed that piece of chicken on our plate. I told her not to put that on our plate. She got defense and told us there was nothing wrong with it. And did so with attitude.
