Mountain Cupcakes is the only cupcake bakery open in the Vail Valley. We are located in the heart of Vail Village (Solaris Plaza) and cook all items in our on site kitchen with two hands. A gem. Wonderful atmosphere, kind staff and great cupcakes. Mountain Cupcakes is a must stop during your Vail vacation.
I called and asked what time they closed. They said 8oclock. I went there at 5:30 and they were closed. I was so excited to try their gluten free cupcakes since I havent had a cupcake since 2016. I was so disappointed and somewhat angry. Good thing Yeti Grind was open and had gluten free cupcakes that were amazing! I wish I could give them 0 stars. THEY LIED!!!
I have nothing but admiration for Lauren who saved the day for me when I showed up in Vail a few days before my son’s wedding asking her to make a specific mint chocolate ganache Groom’s Cake for me and she nailed it. It was a huge hit!! Thank you sooooo much, Lauren. Your flexibility and helpfulness was greatly appreciated. Wishing you the best and will definitely come in for more cake next time we are in Vail.
