I think the care on the most part is good..how ever that being said..my mother in law is being cared for at snh she is 87 Italian and does not understand English well. She has the flu and able to get up and walk around on her own.she was told to call the nurse for help to go to the bathroom.she did call about 10 times no one answered her call.she ended up going in the bed.that is Un excuse able .Also I think it is discussing that admitting would go up to her room at 7:15 pm and ask her to pay a co-pay!! This was, and is, the worst hospital I have ever been treated in, in my life! My 85 year old mother was left in her bed for 30 consecutive days and got no attention when I w as not there visiting. I developed MRSA from a visit to see her there. The staff is completely without education and social skills to communicate properly with patients or family I think that this hospital needs to get a few surprise inspections to cure what ails them. Tonight's visit with my Dad is bad. A 93 year old man should not have to wait for a saline drip for hours. I have always had good experiences here, but not tonight. There is definitely something off. Many times here with Mom, Stepdad & now biological Dad & never had such a bad experience.
