On March 14, I saw Dr. David Fernandez for flu-like symptoms that had lasted too long and developed into new symptoms. I tested negative for COVID-19, the flu, and pneumonia with a chest X-ray. One of the new symptoms was inner ear pain and clogged ears. I mentioned these to the doctor, thinking I had an ear infection, but he checked my ears and said they were fine. BE WARNED: this location is listed under "Urgent Care/Walk-In" on Mount Sinai's own website, but the physician charge is billed as an emergency visit. I came in for something minor in January 2026 expecting my $75 urgent care copay. I received great care here but, as others have noted, they will bill you twice for the same visit, once for physician’s services and once for hospital services (facility fee.) I wound up with nearly a $2,000 bill for a strep throat diagnosis. Double charge is actually not an accurate description, because the hospital services bill is MUCH larger than the physician services bill. Insane compared to similar urgent cares in NYC.

This place is a scam. You walk in they say its an "urgent care" but you will get bills for visiting a ER . Staff plays stupid as if they dont know whats going on than points to a form that you consent to charges. Its a deceptive practice beware! I filed a formal complaint against this place and will make sure they never portay themselves as an urgent care again!
