The Aventura Emergency Department is really horrible. Had a horrible experience last night. They only sent a nurse in to order all exams and tests and I kept asking to speak to a doctor 5 and a half hours later and no physician came to see me. I came in with severe abdominal pain, fever and elevated heart rate. They offered no pain relief AT ALL, no one was concerned enough with my elevated heart rate to even do an EKG. The best hospital in South Florida my newphew Daniel González is a critical care nurse there work's in Cath Lab and the best RN on staff the doctor's, nurses and staff treat you like family it was heartwarming. As always a very smooth and calming experience in all departments from reception, to registration, to lab and last but not least my visit with Dr. Cusnir and his staff. Like my daughter said; even when Dr. Cusnir tells you he is concerned you feel calm hearing his words.
