This monument I've seen in pictures my whole life and it one that you must see for yourself. Breath taking.
A must sometime in your life and do not miss the evening presentation and lighting ceremony!
Very well maintained setting that offers a great view of the monument. Offers nice food court and gift shop for those interested.
Amazing, as always. I was disappointed, however, as this was the first time I'd been there when the veterans weren't able to introduce themselves individually, and were recognized only in groups based on their branch of service. I hope they revisit that policy and go back to the way it's been done all the time I've ever gone!
I am flabbergasted that anyone, particularly a US citizen, can give this less than 5 stars. I made it a quick visit before I left the area and was completely in awe. So proud, such emotion and thankful for those that do the work to keep it pristine.
Very cool but not as cool as crazy horse. The commitment and size are just the start of the difference.
Amazing!!! Breath taking!!! Pictures and books don't do the monument justice! It was crowded but we were able to move around without and bumping into anyone. And the gift shop line snaked around a couple of times but they were able to move us just as quickly out of there.
So amazing to have been right there ! I am very grateful to have such great memories .
