We feel truly fortunate to have found Mount Carmel Assisted Living for our 97-year-old mother. After residing in an independent living facility for about six years Mom had a serious fall and broke her femur just above the knee. It’s not hard to imagine the pain a traumatic and discomfort this caused her. She was in very dire shape, but mentally still sharp and lucid. I’ve had the pleasure to tour this facility with the warm welcome from Richard and Elizabeth (owners). All the staff are very friendly and I see them really taking good care of the patients. I was there for lunch time and witnessed the caregiver even ask the patients one by one for what else they want to eat (dessert, etc.) Know that I’ve been to another homecare facility and seeing the top notch care I here in Mt.
