Good honest BBQ without the fake wannabe BBQ show. This applies to both the food and the folk.
Food was absolutely tasteless!!! No type of seasoning on anything. I actually tasted as if they just put meat on smoker and let it go without so much as salt!!! The hash and rice was soupy also no taste and mac n chz was saltless,tasteless and bland as ever!!! Did NOT enjoy my food at all. To be honest I would not recommend.
just tried it about an hour ago on the way home from work. went through the drive thru and bought 2 large bbq sandwhiches with 2 sides each. the people were friendly at the window. but that was the only thing that i liked. upon arriving home, 3 miles away, i open each dinner. the mac and cheese was disappointedly DRY and lacked cheese. the potatoe salad was bland and without taste or seasoning. the baked beans were basically the same. i would have preferred the sauce on the side for the sandwhiches which i shoulda asked how ... read more

On Dec 7th, 2019 i ordered a rack of ribs. If i wanted oven baked ribs, I’d do it myself. There was ZERO bark, zero pink smoke meat. It was wet and fully cooked like in an oven. Your Pit person failed today big time.
Had some Brunswick stew and Ho cakes was delicious. Great to see my friend Trish. Great service also.
Food was horrible,dont waste your time or money. Threw my entire plate of food out,was very disappointed. Someone recommended it to us, we were from out of town.
went with my husband on this day cause we was in Augusta which was my first time his second time. was greeted when we walk in but the vide I sense wasn't please to me. when my husband and I was at the counter the young man had to tell the 2 young ladies that we was there and to take our order and one of the young ladies had said something to young man. I want be going back there again I'll stay on my south Carolina side
