Bought my Mini August 2nd 2024 and was in great shape. Took it to Motorwreks Mini at end is September for just an oil change and got my bill and a novel with parts that needed to be replaced of $8144 which ok maybe they did their job. So I took the car back to my brother in another state and he looked at and fixed most of the stuff and even did other things as preventative maintenance for $2000. I brought my 2009 Mini Cooper to be serviced for a headlight malfunction. I was told I needed a new "footwell control module". I paid the $1500 for the repair, and has been functioning correctly ever since. However, 3 days after the repair, there was a recall notice sent out by Mini specifically on the footwell control module. When reaching out to Mini for a refund on my out of pocket expense, I was told that the refund will be given once the "remedy has been made available". Purchased new 2011 Mini Cooper here and will never never take my car here again or purchase another vehicle here due their poor service department. Took my 2011 Mini in due to check engine light and miss firing. They did a diagnostic and told me me that I needed a new engine and quoted me $17,008.58 for a new engine. Car had 86,000 miles on it and they did not perform or recommend looking at valves, doing a compression check or any other diagnostics. Said it just was not worth it. I forced to trade my Mini Cooper I brought my car in to Motorwerks for a minor issue and Motorwerks worked on it …and they caused it to have major issues which caused me to have to trade my Mini for a 2017 Ford escape. I drove my mini Cooper in for a minor and it was a Undrivable.I was very upset I traded in my car June 2, 2022 .By July 3rd my check engine light came on and I called Motorworks Jake **** he told me to take it to Ford. This company doesn't know how to be honest! They will lie, overcharge you, tell you that you need repairs you don't need, deny any responsibility for their mistakes, and take advantage of you every chance they get. DON'T TRUST THEM TO WORK ON YOUR VEHICLE!
