I’m absolutely happy with Motor City Scuba. I had Michelle as mostly my instructor for pool training/practice. She’s absolutely patient. The team worked around my crazy hectic schedule ( had to delay some of the classes because of it 😓)and we were able to finish my training today. I got to interact with Tim, Stephen, Larry, and Jason (the other instructors) this weekend. I had a few hiccups to start with this weekend but overall I’m absolutely happy with the shop. Best dive shop in the Detroit Metro area!
I've been a certified diver for over 30 years and I can honestly say this is the best shop I've used. The instructors and staff are knowledgeable, friendly and kind. MCS has good inventory for a small shop. They have GREAT dive trips that are never, ever cancelled. ;-) Also, outside of the gear, trips and training, if you're a fan of Patrick Swayze and like to have fun, I would recommend Motor City Scuba - go see Mike and Chuck.
Mike and the rest of the team are great to work with. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and really funny. I always end up laughing when at the shop.
Super knowledgeable staff with a strong customer focus. Some of the best tech and recreational divers in the area.
I took my son to Motor City Scuba , Mike was awesome answering questions that my son had and setting us up for are class! Great place and great people !
Mike has a great deal of knowledge on all aspects of diving and his shop has any and everything you'll need for adventures in diving. Best dive shop around, there's really not even a close second.
