We recently visited Motor City Quick Lube to diagnose a problem with my 2016 Toyota Prius. Mike and Rudy greeted us with a smile and quickly helped us figure out what was wrong. They added coolant and directed me to the nearest Toyota dealer. Their service was friendly and exemplary. We will go back there again.

Motor City Quick Lube This place is a great place to go get whatever you want done to your car. They treat you like family. I have been going there for the last 10 years. They will not tell you anything wrong. When I bought my son's first car when he was 16 I took it to them to so they can give the car a full look over for me. It was a 2000 Dodge Durango. I went for oil change, there was no car ahead of me , I had to wait to get my car serviced the employees were chatting with each other instead of helping me and they got offended because I told them I have to go to an appointment, They always push customer for extra service which is not necessary I feel like I paid $50 dollars when they advertise 19.95... If I could have rated this place with 0 stars I would have. I went in for an oil change and they nicely topped off my transmission fluid, I was very thankful. Then come to find out they left my dipstick out of the transmission tube on my air cleaner. I called to request for a discounted transmission flush because who knows what got in there in that time period that they left it uncovered and the manager called me a liar saying "his boys never left no transmission dipstick out. I am new to the area and needed an oil change in a hurry. Overcharged by $30. Should have done my homework. Stay away...
I told the guy not to bother checking the air filter. His reply: You trying to tell me how to do my job? After a few more sarcastic remarks, I decided to leave and take my business to a place where the manager is polite. Looking at other reviews, I can see that I wasn't the first person he treated badly. So glad I left, the other reviews say he will try to cheat you too. This place is going to go out of business because of him.
They had great specials, great service & very personable friendly staff. I was very surprised how quick they were & thorough. I won't go anywhere else from now on!
They stripped the thread on my Oil pan and blamed it on the last person, every since I have had a slow leak... now I have to get a whole new oil pan. It's kinda of my faught for just leaving and not saying anything but they told me that not to worry about it that it won't leak. Couldn't happen at a worst time... I just bought a house
