Laid back? Check. Good brews? Check. Pizza? Heck yeah. Whether it's after a show at the Opera House, before a Tigers game or just because, this place has turned me and my boyfriend into regulars. Come visit if you haven't yet!
Stopped in last week while visiting family in town. If we still lived in Cass Corridor this would be a regular hang out. Ghetto blaster is our favorite.

Love the pizza's and hand crafted beers. I recommend everyone in your party ordering a different pizza then sharing. They are all great.
I have never had anything to eat or drink here that wasn't absolutely top notch. Their pizza and appetizers are delicious and their beer is fantastic. I always look forward to eating here and I am never disappointed.

The beer's are great but the pizza is awesome. But one pizza per person. They're just not big enough to share unless your the kind of person to take one bite of a sandwich and be full.
My girlfriend and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary in Detroit and specifically set aside time to visit Motor City Brewing works. Charlie behind the bar was hella kewl, took a lot of time explaining the different brews to us, and we drank the afternoon away sampling every tap. A great little spot with great atmosphere, great service, and above all great beer.
