I worked with Lorena and her assistants at MOTI for 21 weeks during my recovery. I was truly happy and appreciative of the care, kindness, support and treatment that I received. I’ve had physical therapy at several other places in the past and now that I’ve been here, should I ever need treatment again, MOTI is the place I would choose.
The administrative side of Moti is well organized, but unfortunately, the actual therapy session was a letdown. Both my primary therapist and the coach seemed distracted and inattentive. My therapist spent much of the session focused on a computer cart; when I asked questions, she was disinterested and even started singing along to the background music on two occasions. I’m posting this as a caution for prospective patients. Be very careful about scheduling appointments without confirmed insurance authorization. In my case, I contacted the office in advance to confirm approval and was told it had not yet been obtained and that I should reschedule. Despite this, a missed-appointment fee was later assessed after confusion surrounding scheduling. I had the good fortune of being the patient of Dr. Ann DeGrey and Dr. Lei Lee after a major surgery and a revision surgery. With their excellent care and expertise, and the assistance of their capable and attentive aides, I successfully restored my full range of motion, strength, and confidence.
