What a great pit stop off Route 66. Friendly, talented staff, amazing fresh coffee. A real treat. Be sure to stop by!
The Mother Road Mocha is my favorite, but everything I’ve had here is great. They also have Italian Sodas, iced teas, and other cold drinks if you don’t want coffee. The baked goods (especially the cinnamon rolls) are a favorite with my family as well.
You can’t beat the coffee and atmosphere at Mother Road! Kara and Ed are always doing something new and I always see at least one person I know when I go in there. Their staff are also amazing and no matter who is making my drink, they know my order, down to saving room for cream. If you want to know what’s happening around town, just stop into Mother Road! Even though they aren’t originally from Carthage, they certainly are Carthaginians now!
I got a carmel macchiato with an extra shot of espresso. Better than any coffee shop around! I will definitely be coming back for my coffee cravings. You also get a little bit of history since it is on the square. Love the atmosphere!
OMG! I'm in LOVE!! First time here got the mother road mocha it's AMAZEBALLZ!! It has a touch of cinnamon in it! Makes it taste amazing and the customer service is fantastic!! Will definitely be back when we come to Carthage heck I'll make a special trip!!
