I grew up here and Mos was and always will be the best im the world! I remember vividly the old building and the HUGE picture on the wall with all the sea animals pictured on it with all the names of them. Id give anything to have that picture.
I don't like seafood, but Mo's is a staple of our beach trip when we visit to my parents. I like all the large amout of "flatlander" options. There was even a veggie burger. The sweet potato fries were a favorite, even with my picky eater. He also ate his entire meal. That's rare. My family loved all their food and the server was really nice and attentive.
Stopped for a quick lunch. Service was fast and chowder great. Homemade pies ala-mode topped off a great lunch.

Cannon ball clam chowder. Hubby and I had the cannon ball chowder. Most clams couldn’t be chewed and had to pile them up on platter. When our nice waitress asked how everything was, I showed her the clams on the platter. She then explained that when they add the new to the old chowder that can happen. So basically what you get is chowder that they keep adding more chowder to, then the clams are over cooked and chewy. The taste of it wasn’t bad, but nothing to brag about. Great location and good service...but honestly, the food is just average . Safe place to go, you know what you'll get...good but not grest.
