Expectation based on reputation is far greater than reality. The appetizer Cajun Tots were bland, even with visual seasoning, and overcooked. The so called famous chowder was dull and tasteless, The beer battered cod's breading was under-cooked and the fish itself overcooked.
The best chowder around! Loved it the fish and chips too!
Great service!! Great food!! Where the restaurant is located gives for a great view of the ocean and Newport Bridge. (Annex location) The original location which is just down the street is a great location and tends to be busier than the other location. Both I’d recommend though.
