Just wanted to thank John at Mort's Powersports for the excellent service. I have been shopping for a CR500 for years. Until recently I became serious about buying. I started looking on cycle trader and there it was a great looking restored CR500. John and Paul were very honest with me about the bike. They even sent me a video of it. I knew right away that's the one. I waited a day just to make sure. I called and said I'll take it. I mailed a check, they crated it up at no charge, they didn't even charge for the tie downs. If I could rate them zero stars I would. Shady dealer, buyer beware. Equivalent to to the used car salesman of old who would roll back odometers and put saw dust in worn out transmissions just to make a quick dishonest buck.
Definitely wouldn't do business with them and make sure not to buy anything online from them. It will not be as advertised. You'll get a polished turd that will be missing or have broken major parts. They will lie about the hours on a machine and remove the hour meter to try and cover their tracks. They will promise a clean title and never deliver it. Once they've been notified about the damages and missing parts, they'll promise to fix them and the back out once a parts list and labor costs has been sent to them.
