The blood pressure taken was extremely hig... The blood pressure taken was extremely high. I returned to work in a health care center, and had it retaken and it was much lower. The nurse told me blood pressure taken on the forearm is not accurate as it gives a much higher reading. In defense of the hygienist, she was unable to obtain a reading on either arm between the elbow and shoulder so then took it on the forearm.

I would have appreciated a phone call from the practice informing me that Dr Bertini was not going to be there at the time of the exam. It would have given me a choice whether I wanted to reschedule the appt. The practice does an excellent job reminding patients of their appointments. I feel the patient needs to be informed if their dentist will not be there at the time of their exam.
