This is by far the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of conducting business with. Norma Lopez, and Anna Estrada, our closing team, were by far the most unprofessional and unqualified individuals in this business. They delayed our closing and refused to furnish documents to the title company. They admitted they were at fault and come to find out, had never finished our CD at 4pm the day we were supposed to close! They are rude and speak to customers as if they were garbage. The gills are 100% correct with respect to their complaint. We here at MCA completely dropped the ball and because of this we caused them to waste time, energy and money on a closing that should have had zero delays. The borrowers provided everything in a timely manner. We will be refunding their appraisal fee in the hopes that we have at the very minimum they accept our apology.
I am having a new home built. I contacted Mortgage Capital Associates Senior Loan Officer Jose ******* He told me he would beat or match any rate by another lender. I left it open for bids. He gave me the lowest bid on 1/29/2018 and sent me a verification of the rate with no fees of 4.35%. On 2/14/2018 I was sent an email stating that Jose would no longer be with the company and his supervisor, David ****** would be reviewing the rate promised. This is 16 days before closing. Mr. ***** was provided with a rate lock option that had to be exercised within 48 hours of delivery. Unfortunately signed documents were not returned for five days which eliminated any chance to secure the lock promised as the interest rates continued to rise. We offered Mr. ***** the going rate of the day and it was declined. Rate lock options are not given in perpetuity and subject to market fluctuations. I've been working with **** at Mortgage Capital for over 5 years for multiple purchases and refi loans, and I couldn't be happier with his services. **** and his team are always professional, knowledgeable and responsive. The whole loan process can be very frustrating and time sensitive and **** always delivered what he promised. My realtor was so pleased with **** after our purchase that she has been sending her clients to him ever since!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! If you want to waste your time with a company that is either too unethical or incompetent to take you through the loan process...here you go. Mr. Y**** took in the application for Mrs. ******** on 10/26 at which time we did not receive her documentation within the 48 hour period which it was requested. Mrs. ******** called into the office to explain that she was also working with quicken because they would not require an appraisal to be performed at which time Mr. Y**** explained that she should go with them but she decided the rate/fee we provided was more attractive.
