Never returns calls, staff condescending and rude. Long wait times. I chose him originally for convenience as his office is a few blocks from where I was living at the time. I was sick a while back and finally went in to see doctor. He was adamant that I must have a thyroid problem so he sent me for blood work. I am stunned this man is allowed to "practice" medicine. I have a disabled family member who is on MediCal, therefore has few options in the area. In a nutshell, he does not answer questions, shoots back rude responses, dismisses concerns, has terrible memory, re: asked why are you here today? Wow that is what "records" are for. My family member is afraid of him, when he can't be understood (accent) he gets angry. I'll refrain from posting the entire complaint, MM might try to sue me.
Dr. Mirkarimi is a very professional, courteous, and caring doctor. He is especially astute at diagnosing conditions that other doctors cannot. I have been treated by him for almost thirty years and cannot believe the poor reviews submitted by others.
The first thing he asked when he walked into the room was, "What's wrong with you why are you here" in the rudest manner. I get that you're busy, but wow, bedside manner is horrendous. He wasn't a good listener and was dismissive. Change doctors for sure if you have the misfortune of having him, unless you want to feel uncared for, dismissed, and unwelcome.
He is the worst doctor I have ever had. He didn't care about me, or my health issues. His staff is just as bad. I have a new doc now.
