Appointments are made far into the future. They are too busy for the size of the practice and they need to add more doctors. (Several doctors have or are about to retire.) Once you are at your appointment, the doctor (at least the one I saw) was knowledgeable and helpful, but he has since retired. I wear “hard” contact lenses and now there is nobody there who can prescribe them. I will have to find someone else.

I was given an appointment for today, 12/9/25 at my last year's appointment. I got off work in Charlotte at 2 pm for this 3:30 appointment as it's an hour drive. After arriving at 3 pm, the lady told me she didn't have an appointment for me. I had my appointment card with me but before I could show it to her, she stated it looks like we tried to call you in July to reschedule you. What???? I just had the worst experience with calling this office to see if I can make an appointment. At first the woman that answered was fine, but when she found out they could take my insurance that when she was asking about my specific condition and saying the doctors don't have availability until next May(2026)! She kept saying she had to know what condition it is in order to schedule me and would not setup an appointment.
