10 years ago my daughter underwent open heart surgery and received excellent care! I can never express my gratitude! A truly amazing place

2 months after delivering my daughter at Morgan Stanley Childrens Hospital, I received a call the billing dept saying the insurance claim was rejected b/c they were told that my baby was a girl. I said "She is a girl" and the person said I would need to send "proof that she is a girl" to the insurance company! I asked what kind of proof (other than that she was examined by your doctors who saw that she is a girl?) and she said she didnt know. Great hospital, friendly staff members. I like the renovation, it's modern, fun for kids.
Excellent care. Staff really showed empathy and excellent care for my daughter and me during her stay for being diagnosed as a Type1 diabetic. They were helpful and extremely educated on her condition and helped educate us so that when we left there we knew how to care for our daughter. It is far from our home but we still use them as their care and professionalism is outstanding.
Best children's hospital and amazing staff. Love this place.
