have had a disability lawyer hired for two years now and have only talked to an assistant twice now in two years... they're going in front of a federal judge for disability and know nothing about me only paperwork that I have provided.
Unprofessional! Use another firm!
they are not for the people...they are for themselves..especially when it comes to claiming social security disability...thier office appointed another attorney to represent me as a client...i got denied at a hearing...and then i got a letter stating that morgan and morgan withdrew from representing me ..and on top of that i got a letter from that other attorney stating that they also withdrew from representing me....therefore..i am forced to represent myself along with my husband helping me to appeal on my case...the judge ... read more
they are a waste of time and could care less about the people.
They assigned me an attorney by the name of Jana Thornbury, who wasn't even active on Avvo.com. On the calls she belittled the value of my case, and reiterated thats the costs for for expert examination would have to come out of the damages for the case, and failed to recognize that those particular damages would be in the compensatory damages, as these would thus compensate the medical needs and treatment required to recover from this case. The intake consultation is a joke for disability. They ask way to many personal questions for being a call center. I was talked over and treated like I was dumb when asking why all this information was needed. Very disgusted. Very big business and not what I'm looking for in an attorney at all.
