We made reservations being that it was Fathers Day. This was a huge disappointment. Service was poor, and our food took 2 hours to get to our table. We took in consideration it was Fathers Day but really our section wasn't that busy. Three of us ordered the Crab Cake Benedict with fries and grits, husband had fish tacos. I'm sure the food would have been decent if warm. It was awful. Our food was cold. Cold grits, cold eggs, cold soggy..fries. it's like the wait staff let our food sit...or the cook did. Service was okay. Hostess acted as if she was bothered by my group. Sat us st a table for 4 not 5 people. We were cramped and in other customers way. Nice views and food was good.

I have eaten at the informal upstairs grill 3 times. I love the amazing view and the menu. Never disappointed by the atmosphere, service or food. I will go back every time I'm in town to visit my grandson. Only thing that I didn't care for were the green plastic chairs, but they were not uncomfortable, just made the restaurant look a little more shabby than the rest of the experience. So don't be fooled when you walk in. Enjoy the experience!

We are in the Charleston area on vacation and visited Isle of Palms and the Morgan Creek Grill. Their food is good and the view is spectacular, but, the service is poor at best. Not sure if I would go back, as I'm sure that there are other restaurants in the area that have good food and a great view. Sad.
