Mora is so excellent, not sure where to begin. Service and atmosphere are perfect. Try the honey shrimp, green beans, noodle dish and actually anything else on the menu. So glad they opened in Plainfield!!!!
Expensive, not a wide variety of food, poor service (understaffed?), inside temperature too warm, over 1 hour to get food, people who were sat after us ate before us

Alaina we apologize for the negative experience. Yes we have been understaffed of late. The combination of opening the patio and the end of school year increased our volume by more than 60% literally overnight. It has been a struggle to find kitchen help especially sushi chefs in our area. If you know any kitchen workers such as line cooks and sushi chefs please let us know! My guess is the people who received their food before you likely ordered food from the cookline that was not as busy as the sushi line. Or vice versa...... read more
Unhappy with the service. Very slow and it wasnt busy. Half the food was cold. Most likely wont return. :(

Chris we are sorry you had a negative experience. Sunday's are normally slow and even though it may not have been busy in your eyes we were busier than usual by at least 60% and that includes pickup orders. Sorry for the wait! May I ask which cooked (hot) items you ordered? Sushi is normally served on the cool side especially the raw fish. Is that what you were referring to?
Poor service!! We waited for ever to be seated, food took a while and orders came out staggered. Everyone's meal came at different times if you feel like wasting time this is the place to go.

Cliff I'm sorry you had such a negative experience. Perhaps it was not explained to you that our dishes are designed to be shared, hence the staggered delivery. If we were to deliver ALL of the dishes at once then the ideal food temperature would not hold. Think of it as Asian food served like tapas. I also apologize for the wait. We loved the Brussels sprouts/ kale salad, edamame, sushi rolls and especially the salmon poke don. The food and service are outstanding at MORA.
