I may have just experienced the single greatest meal of my life. Chef Alex dazzled us with a plethora of dishes, from the surprising Brussels sprout salad, to the green beans, to the succulent waygu beef, to the escolar & toro that simply melted in your mouth, to the most incredible lamb chops & pork belly I've ever had the pleasure of eating! World class cuisine in tiny little Plainfield...do yourself a favor and make the trip next time you're in Chicagoland.
I am addicted to the Brussels kale salad - outstanding and satisfying. Service is fantastic and ambiance is first class. A true gem in the heart of downtown Plainfield.
TrIed out Mora a couple of weeks ago and we are bringing another couple here October 8th. The atmosphere is so hip,the service was great and each dish was amazing! The flavors were unique with perfect seasonings. Like others we loved the kale and broccoli salad. We also loved the Korean chicken wings,the shrimp tempura and the great sliced mushrooms. Can't wait to try more!
My husband & I went there last night for the first time for our 10 year wedding anniversary and we were so happy we did. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful and the service was great! Can't wait to go back!!

I have had Sushi once before about 5 years ago and it was absolutely disgusting! It seriously made me never want to try it ever again. Well tonight my husband and I decided to try Mora and our server Paige was wonderful. She answered all of my annoying questions and even suggested a few of the menu items as "safe staples" for me to try. She was right and I loved them. I tried the "Crunchy" first loved it! Then got brave again and tried the "California" loved that one even more! We will definitely be back!
We have had lunch and dinner here several times. We have never had anything we didn't like. We love the fried rice on the lunch menu. The chef will make it for dinner if it's not too busy. We appreciate that. Also, the best sushi we've had is at Mora. We love the Humachi!
Mora is AMAZING!! Exactly what Downtown Plainfield needed. From impeccable service to the most delicious tasting food, we will be back!!
