Moosewood is our go-to place when we visit Ithaca. Great polenta lasagne, awesome drinks, the best house salad in.the state, and the bed from Ithaca Bakery tops off a sublime experience. Gotta try the chocolate cake sometime!
This place has it all. Food, fun, friends, atmosphere. The food is fantastic.
Overrated – I was looking forward to eating at Moosewood for the last 25 years since I bought the cookbook as a teenager. Boy, was I disappointed! The prices are way too high for what you get ($15 for a plate of rice and beans? For that, you better throw in some organic tofu for free!). The food was incredibly tasteless. love this place After having used several of their cookbooks, I was excited to visit the restaurant. I ate there every day while I vacationed in Ithaca. The menu is wonderful, the decor is charming, and the service is great. Can't wait to go back.
Moosewood Restaurant A pilgrimage for many vegetarians, Moosewood Restaurant shouldn't be missed. Soups and salads so divine that they are a meal unto themselves, hearty vegan and vegetarian entrees, and desserts that are truly decadent. Moosewood cookbooks, clothing, etc are available. The restaurant is licensed and the prices are fair, especially considering the high quality of the food and the service. Happy eating!
