I started my son at Moore's about a year and a half ago because he was having a few confidence issues. As soon as he had his first class he was hooked. Shi Gung Vargas is so attentive to all the children, and takes the time to invest in all of them. My son has made a complete turn around! Moore's gives kids the confidence to defend themselves. All of the instructors are so involved, like a karate family. There are too many good things to say!
Moore's Karate was an absolute positive experience for both my son Shaan and daughter Reya. We enjoyed the teachings and values Moore's Karate brought to them and our family as a whole. Shun Shifu Vargas is amazing with the kids and very personable with the parents!!! He is honest and u will not be disappointed!!! Hands down recommend Moore's Karate for every family.
6 yrs ago I called my Uncle Da Shifu Robert Siegfried asking if he could teach my kids..he gave me Shi Gung Vargas's # and it's been nothing but a positive experience. Moore's Elk Grove is a tight family atmosphere so I signed up for the adult class! Jung Moon comes to teach at times and I remember a picture my Uncle had growing up...so to see him in person is amazing! Much more than just a karate studio! Building character, responsibility, self assurance, and tenacity! As a mom to a teenager, I appreciate that very much. Can't say enough about the staff, all encouraging and engaging. They love what they do and it shows.
Hands down! One of the Best Martial Arts schools in the greater Sacramento/Elk Grove area.Our daughter spent a few years training there and loved her instructors and her fellow students. She learned confidence, balance and coordination which I feel helped her with sports. Not to mention the self defense which will always keep her protected!!!
Moore's Elk Grove has been a positive experience for myself and my family for over 3 years. As a student, instructor and parent of students I can attest to the commitment and positive influence Shun Shifu Vargas has demonstrated to every student. Not only are you learning self defense here but you are learning life lessons. This center has made a positive impact on me and my family for the rest of our lives.
