Dr. Moorer is very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He was very patient in explaining the medical issues that we were dealing with and answering the questions that we had regarding them. We saw him on both a hospital in-patient and office out-patient basis. Our family highly recommends Dr. Moorer and his staff at Virginia Cancer Specialists in Gainesville, VA.
During a routine annual physical my primary care doctor noted that some of the blood work indicated possible Multiple Myeloma and immediately arranged for me to see Dr. Moore. Absolutely have faith in Dr. Moorer. He has been my provider for 5+ years for a blood issue. He is professional, highly regarded by his peers and always makes himself available for his patient's and their families. A great doctor and person. Explains everything in such a way that you understand it all. Great bedside manner. Always leaves me with a positive outlook. Exceptional staff, from the check in, to the lab, to the chemo nurses. Can't imagine going through cancer without him and his team.
I have recently had health scares for the first time in my life. This was the first Dr who took the time to know my history and treat me as if I am a patient rather than a product on a factory machine. The entire experience was amazing from the checkin tonthe checkout! Even the bloodwork experience was amazing! Totally recommend this Dr. and his team!!
I would definitely recommend Dr. Moorer and his staff...I had a health issue that I had never dealt with before and Dr. Moorer ordered blood samples to determine the cause of the problem.. After getting the results, I was told exactly what to do to resolve my issue and stay healthy...
