When I was first diagnosed, I really felt that Dr. Moorer went out of his way to accelerate and adjust my treatments in order to accommodate a preplanned European trip. Let’s face it, at that point. The trip was a nice to have, but Dr. Moorer really seemed to care about my taking that trip. I don’t think too many doctors would have gone out of their way to make it happen. Just had my six month check up since being declared cancer free. He is still the same great guy.

I have been seeing Dr. Moorer for 5 years. He is a very attentive doctor with an excellent bed side manner. He takes time to get to know his patients. He explains things in a way I can understand and he puts me at ease! Excellent doctor!!!

Referred by my PCP. This was my first time needing to see a hematologist. If I’m honest the name of the practice did throw me for a loop. I was concerned I had something crazy going on. The Nurse I worked with was super reassuring and very gentle in bringing me back to earth lol. When your mind is racing, first horrible thing going on you worry about the craziest things hahaha! After receiving disturbing lab results and reviewing online information about my test I was anxious about this visit and the prospects. Dr Moorer was wonderful. Explain in detail what the test meant and what the implications were for me.
