For affordability, convenience and old world charm, you can't beat this historic hotel. Located next to the Moore Theater, which features a variety of artists and musicians, the hotel offers rooms with a view at great prices by downtown Seattle standards. The historic Moore Theater is high on the list for ghost sightings, so if you are lucky you may even experience something extraterrestrial. If nothing is going on at the theater, you're sure to find something to do downtown or in Belltown, both within walking distance. Or h... read more

Simple, clean, great price. – Got a double for $80 (including tax). Fantastic price for a Hotel overlooking the water, right in downtown Seattle. Room was very clean, good size, with a comfy bed and a nice view. Highly recommended.
very cool, great value – the decor is sparse, the location is amazing, the value is over the top - i was a single woman travelling in seattle and i was completely comfortable staying there. i was really pleased not to spend my budget on a place to stay but got to spend on seeing and experiencing Seattle. the only slight drag is the parking because the overnight parking expires at 7am and has to be renewed by 7am - but heck, why sleep late when there is so much to see in a beautiful city. the rooms don't have alarm clocks, bu... read more
Cheap, Quaint, Fun!!!!! – This place is awesome!! Location couldn't be any better, I mean this place is right downtown!!! They might not have their own parking lot but there is a public parking lot across the street, only like $5 for ten hours on weekends. The rooms have a nice simple style, and are very clean. The rooms have huge windows that overlook Seattle, and the beds are actually pretty comfortable. The staff is awesome, they know of any and every fun thing to do, they will even tell you what touristy thing is not wor... read more
great location & bargain – If you can stand to carry your own bags to your room and like to be in the heart of the city, you'll love this historic building. The rooms have surprising elegance and many have nice views of the sound and Pike Market. Great restaurants/coffe shops within walking distance in all directions. The rooms are always very clean, the personnel are great. I come to Seattle regularly on business and wouldn't stay in another place while in seattle. I highly recommend a stay at the Moore Hotel!
Thanks Bob! – I wasn't expecting much- I knew it was a budget hotel and warned my friends it was suppose to be a basic hotel. We were all really surprised to find out that the hotel was so close to everything, our room was large and clean, the bar next door was great, and Bob at the front was so nice! He helped us find different clubs and restaurants, and was extremely polite! This place is perfect if you're under thirty, want a place you can totally chill at, and don't want to drive around. The only problem is parking's a r... read more
Foot Explorer's Hotel – This was our first time and we'll be back! The hotel is perfect for anyone wanting to explore downtown and the waterfront by foot. The room was simple, but clean - we just missed air conditioning. And from our 7th floor room we had a view of the water.
Location, location, location – I have visited Seattle many times, but this was the first time I stayed at the Moore. It was easy to get to the Moore from the airport on the Grey line bus. It is walking distance to Downtown, and the famed Pike Place Market. Also just a short walk to the ferry dock. While the Moore may not have the routine sameness of a major chain, it more than makes up for that in charm, a helpful staff and lots of charisma. Next time you are in Seattle and want to be a part of Seattle's history, and in a gr... read more
Stay Here – Great location and great staff make this basic hotel the perfect home base for travelers through Seattle. 7th floor is beautiful!
Great place to stay for cheap – I was planing on visting Seattle but didnt know where to stay. So then i searched on the internet and saw that everywhere downtown seattle was well over 100 dollars per night!! Me being a college student didnt have that much to spend. But then i saw the advertisement for the Moore Hotel, only 39 dollars a night!! Yea it was without the bathroom, but hey im a college kid, its like staying in a big dorm room for a cheap price. I think this place was well worth the money!! Im goin back to this ho... read more
