Terrrific place, try to get there early, they get busy fast. Great food and staff. Well worth your time and money. Food portions were generous, and it's a neat place to people watch also.
My husband proposed to me at Moonshine on my birthday in 2014. It is now our go to place for all special occasions. Fabulous food and atmosphere
We went to a work party last night for my husbands company. The waitress hosting us throughout the night was named April. She was FANTASTIC! Absolutely the nicest and most attentive woman (not to mention she's almost 9 months pregnant and working this party). She deserves a raise! The food was amazing, as expected. The drinks flowed without pause. Best party at the best restaurant ever!
Now... That was a good burger, and great first introduction to real moonshine. Will definitely come back!
Moonshine was the 1st restaurant I ate at when I moved to Austin a year ago and has been a favorite ever since. With my parents in town I brought them in yesterday and everything was flawless from start to finish! Major shout out to James for being one of the best servers I've had in years! As a fellow hospitality professional I appreciate great service and he was top notch! Keep it up! Can't wait for the new location to pop up in SW Austin! :)
