We've been here twice. The first time couldn't of been better, the food tasted amazing, the server was amazing, we were in love. Then, we had friends come out from Oregon and surprise us so we decided to try this restaurant again for Thanksgiving. Worst. Experience. Ever. My food arrived semi-warm, my trout was overcooked. The real fiasco came when the checks came. Every member of my party was overcharged. Once confronting the waitress (who was great), the GM Joe came up and attempted to fix it. Came back. Still wrong, still overcharged. Went back, said he couldn't fix it because of his system. You can't fix a bill because of your system? Get a new system! Then argued, legit was arguing with the birthday girl for 5 min about how we were wrong. Best overall place for a meal (lunch or dinner) downtown Austin. If you are lucky enough to get Devon as your server, just icing on the cake.
Absolutely amazing Sunday morning brunch. Loved sitting in the bar near the fireplace. Wonderful cozy spot.
Loved it! We decided to try it on a Sunday night and it was pretty packed! I know why! The trout was amazing, the grits were perfectly done. My new favorite place to eat!!

Sat on the patio for Saturday lunch. Our server, J Landa, was fantastic! We had the pork sandwich with pimento mac and cheese, chicken almondine with garlic mash, and the garlic bulb appetizer. All delicious and plentiful. This is a must try in downtown Austin.
