About this business

The Moonshine Grill sits in the oldest building in Austin, and the decor tastefully reflects the same. The sweeping arches and exquisite mirrors on the brick and stone walls, not to mention the warm fire place all make for a cozy setting. The starters everyone raves about are the corn dog shrimp, which are skewered shrimp in cornmeal batter, served with honey and blueberry mustard. The choice entrées are the broiled rainbow trout and Texas flat iron steak. Behind the main restaurant is a refurbished carriage converted... read more

Was outstanding in every way...fantastic service! Chicken and waffles trounced any I'd had elsewhere. Corn dog shrimp & kale bacon dip were also delicious.

Visited Austin this weekend and this place was first on the best places to eat in Austin Google search. I must say it didn't disappoint. We ate dinner on a Friday night about 7pm. Once we were sat at our t... read more

Awesome Sunday buffet. Me and my son met my sister-in-law from St. Louis and her friend from Tampa Bay for brunch and it was just amazing.

Only had to wait about 15 mins to be seated and started with a drink in the bar while we waited. The Blind Mule was delicious. Started with the "corn dog" shrimp, yum! He had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, said it was the best he ever had. I had the spinach noodles, they were delicious. Our waiter seemed to forget about us a few times... but the a... read more
