My husband and I normally hit up Moon River when we make it to Savannah. We always have an awesome experience and have always had great service. Our waitress this time seemed inexperienced. She did not ask how my husband wanted his burger and it was well-done (my husband prefers medium-rare). However, this wasn't enough to make us upset about our experience. Our drinks and food came to us fast.
Had an awesome time at Moon River, our waiter Matthew not only gave outstanding service but turned out to be the first of many friendly and over the top welcoming people we have met in Savannah. Thank you Matthew for not only your service as our waiter but also to the other recommendations of places to visit in Savannah!
Great atmosphere, tasty beer, attentive service, and a cool (haunted) old building are all positives. However the jury is still out on the food. I ordered a salmon dish, and I was told they were out of salmon. I switched to a shrimp dish, and once again, they were out of shrimp. I was also then told a list of items that I wouldn't be able to order because the kitchen was out of a major ingredient. I ended up just ordering an appetizer, which only mildly interested me. Great beer.....shitty service
Best meal we had in Savannah and best services. Our waitress was wonderful.
Service was mediocre at best. We got a flight and some fries in the outdoor beer garden. The fries were the smallest order of fries I have ever purchased. After we were done with our beers and fries we sat for close to 20 minutes for the check. We thought it would be fun to see how long it would take for the bartender to check on us. All in all it was whatever.
Great local hangout for Craft draft beer & drinks!!
Ok, so...like the best wings ever. Beer is yummy too. And Matthew and Georgia are the cutest and most gracious hosts and servers and we love them! Highly recommend!
