The place is GREAT! We were in Savanna for a few days and I was insistent on finding a brew pub. [What do you expect, we're from Wisconsin!] Liked it so much the first time, we went back AGAIN. We had great beer, excellent food, and good servers. We WILL be back. Thanks, and keep up the good work! Note to owners, PLEASE make those employee colored t-shirts available for purchase... I only could get white and I HATE white, but got it anyway.
BLUF-“Shut Up and Drink Your Beer” pretty much sums up the service philosophy of this place. While they had a slightly above par session IPA and a good smoked trout dip, service was horrible. The wait staff were curt and offputting. I was seated with the family in the beer garden when it began to drizzle. Her greatest concern was to close our check. Ok, understood. Poor, slow service and very rude bartender. My husband and I traveled very far to visit Savannah and to enjoy ourselves for a day of drinking and bar hopping. We stopped at Moon River because we thought it looked like a great place to sit and relax. I had no problems with my initial bartender. She was very friendly and attentive. I ordered at least $50.00 worth of beers (between drafts and the growler she encouraged me to get). I paid for the growler, and hadn’t received it after over an hour. Moon River was the first stop on our Savannah girls weekend trip. Didn’t go inside, because the patio and outdoor space is awesome! I had the Spring Tide (seasonal pale ale) and it was great, then the Low Country Crab Melt for dinner - it was delicious! Our waiter was very attentive, would be a great spot to hangout or eat at again.
Stopped in for an appetizer and a brewsky. The brisket nachos were pretty freakin good. As far as beer goes, the wife had the wild wacky wit and I had the swamp fox IPA. Both were good beers. Overall we would go back in an heartbeat.

I was in my hometown of savannah for easter. Went to moon river and I absolutely loved it!!. The staff was excellent! And I have to say once again a really huge THANK YOU to Yvonne ciesla!!
